Snow Leopard Downgrades Flash

AppleInsider reports that Snow Leopard downgrades Flash when installed, from the latest version (10.0.32.18) to an older version (10.0.23.1). It does this without informing the user that the change has been made.

Adobe Flash is often targeted by hackers attempting to exploit vulnerabilities in the software and Adobe releases patches often to fix these vulnerabilities. Using an older version of Flash then makes a computer vulnerable to exploits that have since been fixed in later versions. Why Snow Leopard downgrades Flash is unknown, but it is possible to check what version you have at Adobe’s website. If you having else than “10,0,32,18” you can manually upgrade to the latest version at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

Thank you for another informative blog. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such a perfect way? I have a project that I am just now working on, and I have been on the look out for such information.
