Pandora has released an app for the Google’s Android operating system. The app allows you to login and access all of the stations you have created on your computer. It features a home screen widget from which you can control playback and is integrated with the Android’s standard music player. It also allows you to share stations with your Android address book contacts and to purchase songs that you like using the Amazon MP3 app. Unlike its iPhone counterpart, the Android app can be run in the background, allowing you to do other things on the phone while listening to Pandora. The app works on both the myTouch and G1 and will work on the HTC Hero when it is released.
The app can be downloaded right now from the Android Market.
